# Deploy

> Choose a source, review the build plan, and ship a project live on Pxxl.

Pxxl takes a project from a source to a live service or Static App through one reviewable flow.

## The four stages

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a source">
    Select the option that matches where the project lives. Git repositories, uploads, containers, WordPress, imports, and templates each use their own setup path.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the source">
    Connect the repository, upload the archive, choose the image, or provide the information required by the selected source.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the build plan">
    Pxxl detects the language, framework, package manager, commands, port, output directory, and deployment target. Review the result before the build starts.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Follow the deployment">
    Pxxl queues the build, streams logs, publishes the result, and shows the deployment status and public route.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Start with [Deployment Sources](/deploy/sources) to choose the right option. Then read [Build Configuration](/deploy/configuration) for the settings Pxxl asks you to review.

<Note>
  Pxxl does not create the final deployment until you submit the reviewed configuration.
