# Domain Monitoring

> Review domain traffic, edge requests, certificates, and route health.

The **Monitoring** section shows traffic and edge request information for eligible domains. Use it after DNS changes, a proxy change, or a new deployment.

## Traffic signals

| Signal | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Requests** | Requests that reached the Pxxl edge for the domain. |
| **Visitors** | Distinct visitor activity when the data is available. |
| **Bandwidth** | Bytes transferred by the route. |
| **Latency** | Time spent serving requests. |
| **Routes and status** | Which hostname and project handled the request and how it completed. |
| **Recent edge activity** | The latest request and proxy activity for the selected period. |

## SSL and certificates

The **SSL** section shows installed certificate services and provides a download action when a certificate is available.

Before troubleshooting HTTPS:

1. Confirm the domain resolves to the expected Pxxl route.
2. Confirm the [Nameservers](/domains/nameservers) or DNS record setup is complete.
3. Select **Resync Proxy** from [Routing](/domains/routing) or [Settings](/domains/settings).
4. Reopen the domain and check SSL status again.

## A useful review order

* Check nameservers and DNS first.
* Check the connected project and application port.
* Resync the proxy after changing either value.
* Check SSL and edge request activity.
* Open the project Live Logs when the edge reaches the application but the application returns an error.
